WORK IN PROGRESS

Have had quite a busy week, experimenting and just generally having fun! have managed to finish a few ATC cards and aDottee Doll, other works are still in progress.

Wildlife and Workshop

The beginning of the week was really beautiful here in Devon too nice to stay indoors, so with Camera and the dog, we went to enjoy the sunshine and the wildlife, by the end of the week the weather had turned cold and grey and not very inspirational, but i had a workshop to look forward to on saturday at our local quilt shop, called Celebration Photo Album with Jennifer Trollope. We all had alovely day although we run out of time to finish albums there, I finished mine at home.

My Embellished Piece was done on an Embelisher, 9x9 Felt square, Painted Tissutex, wool, silk fibres, offcuts silk carrier rods, then some accent beads glued on. I am still undecided about what to do with it, either frame it or use it as the front of a book cover. Here's some more of my work. again a 9x9 Black felt Square, Sisoflor, and then all sorts of oddments, The Blue/Purple piece is a piece of Black silk scarf embellished on machine with wool.
