Killer catalogue

Killer catalogue
Killer catalogue,
originally uploaded by capribluegenie.
I think this is probably a finished piece.
answering questions, it is a double spread, pulled apart from the main catalogue, probably about a dozen pages, some naturally stuck together, sprayed with colour wash and walnut ink, a gold water colour dropped in places, treasure gold added highlights.
Thanks for all your encouraging comments, I never thought a year ago , my artwork would have changed so much, Thanks for all your inspiration my friends.

Hope you all had a good Easter? Mine did not go quite to plan, on Friday went off to Exmouth, when we got home i had lost internet connection, which did not return until Sunday. AAaargh so frustrating. Saturday i went off to Plymouth to find an outfit for my sons wedding in May, came home with nothing. more frustration!!! Sunday DH went fishing should have been able to get on with craftwork, no chance lost the muse!!
Monday we went to visit a friends new baby son. who is adorable. came home and did manage to make the ATC's and Bookmark. While DH was trying to get the signal for the TV sorted, have just gone over to digital in our area, more frustration !!,
Thanks to all who visit, it is great to hear from you all.
Have a great week Everyone.

Catologue Killers

Well after months of decaying in the garden and then drying indoors. Maggie Gray, of http://magstitch.blogspot.com/
gave us the go ahead and inspiration to get started on some of the pages.
They have both been painted with gesso then had the Quink ink and walnut ink treatment. left to dry overnight. i have only added a couple of faces and a paper cast to the top one.
The bottom one has had scrim, wood , stone, shell and a couple other embellishments added.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
and a big thankyou to all who left such encouraging comments on previous posts.
