ATCs and Bookmarks

Hi all, hope you have had a great summer despite the weather?

We had a lovely afternoon in Teignmouth on Sunday with Friends from Dorset, weather was good and we wandered along the front following the sculpture Trail.

I have been busy sorting out new laptop it is wonderful all singing all dancing does everthing apart from make the tea lol!

i have received some lovely ATCs one from Maureen 1 from Val, and also a printed copy and some material from Fannie Narte a giveaway on her blog.

I have made quite a few ATCs from sample pieces made on the embellisher, and a bookmark for Anna Nowicki in exchange for a bookmark she had made as part of a challenge and as she had 4 extra over she decided on a swap. The First 3 are ATC i made 2 embellisher one the last one is an ATC for the Monthly Swap, belonging to a group called JAV. the Title being what do you want to be when you grow up, mine is i want to be taller , lol!! Good News

Hi All,the good news is my daughter is 100%better. thankyou all for your kind thoughts.
I am writing this on my new laptop. arrived yesterday, and just been set up, haven't got access to photos yet.
The annual flower show at the weekend was a bit of a washout, and our Art group pulled out,
i did manage a First Prize for one of my photos, the rest i had to make do with what i had as the computer had died before i had chance to print the ones i really wanted.

Devon Gremlins

Not been a very good week, what with the weather and an attack of the Gremlins.
First the television decided to die or so we thought and went out and bought a new digital one, which we will need soon, but that wouldn,t work as needs a booster or a new ariel! luckily the old tv is now working at least until we can sort out an ariel or booster!
Then my computer was hijacked, went away to be sorted, luckily all my files were saved, as it then decided to die. so now waiting for a new all singing all dancing lap top , to save on space. so all in all it has been an expensive week.
The Good News is
My daughter is finally on the mend, she has gone a whole week without being ill.
So Thanks to you all for your prayers and good wishes.
will catch up with you all soon

one step forward and a dozen back

Good news and not so good,

start with the not so good, My daughter has to go back into hospital, for more treatment that will probably kill off her immune system as well as the problem, so its back to the beginning again and more worrying!!. thanks to everyone who has left lovely messages.

The good news for this week is i sold 2 paintings on the preview evening, That's a First for me, Sales are a bit slow this year, but we have had some lovely comments from people popping in.

I forgot to say in the last post the red ATC flew off to Wendy in Canada. While i recieved a lovely one from Satu in Finland, I have forgotten to Photograph OOps.

I also received a lovely pink cuff from Anne Styles on the Yahoo Embellisher swap group. and a Georgeous pincushion from Tricia, on the Yahoo Embellisher challenge group.
