Dynamic sketch and photo

This months was Dynamic and Rhytmm , so finding some source material and then sketching idea to an ATC size, both my ATC's were embellished on machine then hand sewn for the finished detail, next months challenge is Tonal so off to sort through all my photos.

Craft Fair Goodies

I Sneaked off to a craft fair at Westpoint Exeter yesterday, and found a lot of bargains as well as my usual favourites from Stef Francis and Ario, quite a few of the stalls were selling things off, charms paper packs and embellishments for a £1 a packet, could have spent loads more if i had had any more money on me, not a lot else to tell you about the fair, there wasn't as many stalls or as many people as usual. although it was quite busy, there was gallery of paintings and some textile art, some really lovely artwork

Hi all.
i have done a collage photo of the work i have been playing around with, mostly books for Maggie's online class. plus an altered paper gift bag and a paper collage page. The book in the box, was a charity shop find, a childrens note block., made the cover for book with craft foam and used the paper that came with set as pages, the mini book in a box, didn't have a little match box so used the box from mini set of cards, the shrink plastic was a bit hit and miss, and also i only had a couple of sheets left. but luckily the book just fits the box with a squeeze, the taller book also from shrink plastic, not perfect as one of the holes broke to close to edge. i also made a book from the circle pieces from earlier samples.
The paper gift bag. i covered in gesso and added scrim, sprayed with colour wash and added highlights and a tag.

i am trying to get back into routine after having DH home for 3 weeks, he is back at work thankfully. i have received some lovely art in the post this week,

i also have been busy making a Flower fabric book for a swap on yahoo myartfriends group.

Playtime

DH is still home getting over the flu, all routine has gone out the window lol, so have been playing with paint and paper, ATC Doodle, painted and textured squares and a Poppy collage
