Winter in Bovey
A Winters Day in Devon.We do not usually get this amount of snow in Bovey Tracey!! its usually up on the moors.
It was beautiful this morning, not so much fun trying to walk to work this afternoon, rather slippery.

I have been busy, Painted my Art Heart and Healing Angel, for Willowing group.
still need some practise with painting faces.!
I have also been knitting a wire bracelet at my Tuesdays craft group.
My JAV, group theme for this month was "Recipe"so found a cup cake recipe. a healthy one from a Health magazine. LOl. I dont do cooking any more ! Leave that to the other half .
spent Yesterday needlefelting an Angel and a mermaid. and finished off another heart brooch.

Hi all,
a mixed bag of artwork this week, a couple of paintings done at art group.
page 2 of Art Heart & Healing altered board book and front cover.still need to practise a bit with whimiscal people.
a felt brooch made on the embellisher, then buttons and beads added,
Craft Fayre last Saturday, sold a mixed bag of items ie cards, Jewellery, Scarfs etc, It was the first year we didn't sell any paintings.

I did not follow Tams way of working this time
After the initial gesso , I had trouble with the transfer so ended up just pasting last copy in as it was, I sprayed with colour wash , added the text, stamped a few butterflies, then used Sharpie and other colour pens .

New Artwork.
Cornish Tin Mine, this was originally a watercolour i did some years ago, have added collage and Colour spray .
This started out as an experiment with Textures some time ago, added some collage / Fabric paper , Wax crayons.
Found this in my stash not sure when i originally painted it, think it was another experiment with Texture and colour.
