Birthday Blues

Today's my birthday but feeling blue as i have caught the dreaded lurgy and have no energy for anything but play about on computer and watch tv,

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas, luckily i do have the rest of the week off work so hopefully will feel well enough to catch up

I have had a busy week, sorting out , Tidying up and then making a mess again. Found some silk paper samples i had made a while ago and hadn't finished , so have now highlighted them with wax encaustic, need some ideas with what to do with them now! I have also started on my altered book for Maggie grey's class, thats added to the mess in the workroom. with gesso paint and glue , its a wonder the dog doesn't wake up in the morning looking like a piece of art. the workroom also being her bedroom.

Have had a few goodies in the post as well.

Catch Up

Hi all,

i am still playing catch up, with everyday life, Housework, Artwork, Appointments i could do with a few more hours in the day at the moment,LOL

My workshop last week did not run as smoothly as i would have liked, Sewing machine decided to play up as soon as i started, did have use of Janet's (the Tutor) but a bit nerve racking using someone else machine . but did manage to do 3 postcards 2 x 7 x 5 and 1x 6 x 4 .

have also done a few more sample pieces for Maggie greys online class. but have not managed to finish anything at the moment.

Feeling Better

In a Bit of a Dither

Hi All,

just a quick update,

I am in a bit of a dither, cannot concentrate properly, as our dog as been quite poorly on and off all week, and the vet (my boss) cannot find out whats wrong. had to call him out last night and he gave her injections, so will have to see what today brings.

I have made a few Xmas ATC's the last couple of evenings, just need to take pics.
