Catologue Killers
Well after months of decaying in the garden and then drying indoors. Maggie Gray, of http://magstitch.blogspot.com/
gave us the go ahead and inspiration to get started on some of the pages.
They have both been painted with gesso then had the Quink ink and walnut ink treatment. left to dry overnight. i have only added a couple of faces and a paper cast to the top one.
The bottom one has had scrim, wood , stone, shell and a couple other embellishments added.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
and a big thankyou to all who left such encouraging comments on previous posts.

Beautiful work Jean. And well done for getting on with it so soon. I thought I would start mine today but ran out of time.
Hi Genie,
These are sensational, they look like something out of Tolkein!
Absolutely amazing Jean - love the brown one, looks so 'earthy'!
I love the faces I see in both Jean. I must get mine out.
Oh this sounds very interesting .... and what great results you've achieved. Love the colours too.
They are both great Genie - well done and you did them so quickly.
Stellar! Wish I had followed along,
just couldn't seem to get the catalog to do anything! Pooh!
Hi
Great blog, your work is very creative, love the faces. Keep up the good work.
These look great Jean, I'm afraid I gave up on mine.
Your catalogues are wonderful. You have used such lovely colours and the textures are great too. I love the altered cutlery on your earlier post - I bet you all had fun doing them.
These are soo cool looking! They have an ancient, earthy organic and almost magical feeling! Awesome!!
They look really good Jean with a beautiful choice of colours.
